M 207 – Reuniting the Happy Couple
“I thank everyone who was able to make it possible for me to see my husband’s graduation. I am beyond grateful that all of my prayers were answered with this blessing. My husband and I will always be absolutely thankful from the bottom of our hearts.”
G 207 – Daddy, you have no idea what we went through to get here, but we made it!
“I want to sincerely thank the Coast Guard Family Assistance Fund for making it possible for my son and me to attend such an important moment: his father’s bootcamp graduation. We faced many obstacles and almost couldn’t go, but thanks to your generosity and support, we were able to be there.
It was an unforgettable experience, and during these uncertain times we are going through, that day marked a new beginning filled with happiness and hope. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity.
I will never forget the look in my son’s eyes—how they sparkled with excitement on the plane, knowing he was about to see his father graduate. Words cannot express how much it means to us that you made this experience possible. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for everything you do to support families like ours.”
Delta 207 – Wife Has The Honor To See Husband Graduate
“I will forever be so incredibly grateful and thankful to the USCG Family Assistance Fund and all there outstanding donors! This trip was worth every day of his training! I was so filled with pride and honor to be a part of the whole two days! The dinner with the CCs was way more relaxed and less intimidating than I thought. Haha. It was an honor to be there with all three of them and their very special mentors! Thank you for the gift of walking on the same ground my Coastie did for eight weeks.”
JULIET 206 – Romeo Enjoys Graduation With His Family
“Thank you so much, we appreciate all your organization did for us.”
HOTEL 206 – Mom And Brother There On This Special Day
“Hi, I wanted to give you a huge shout out to you and the USCG and the fundraising team. You guys have been amazing! I’m beyond grateful his brother and myself are here to see it all. I thank you! Thank you so much!”
HOTEL 206 – Mom Shares In Graduation Experience
“There were moments that I prayed for a solution on how I could afford to get to the graduation. It brought joy to me that I was able to be a blessing by donating to CG Family Assistance Fund after reading a post a few weeks after joining the Facebook group. Not realizing that I would need help myself getting to the graduation. I will forever cherish, remember, and hold December 23, 2024, close to my heart. Attending my son’s graduation brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it, just like the actual day all over again. Thank you for the opportunity to share and experience a once in a lifetime milestone with my son, a graduate of Hotel 206.”
BRAVO 205 – Mom there for daughter’s graduation
“Thank you so very much for the assistance with attending my daughter’s bootcamp graduation. We are very grateful for the opportunity. I can’t even begin to imagine not being there for her on this special day. It was very emotional and an extremely positive life change for our family. She is very happy with her Coast Guard Bootcamp experience and looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks again.”
ALFA 205 – No bus ride to the airport for this new Coastie
“Attending graduation meant everything to us. Early on in boot camp he told his shipmates that he’d be riding the bus home after graduation because no one was going to be there for him. I know he was down about it for several weeks. I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been to work towards a very important day in your life and feel like you’re all alone. When I told him I was coming thanks to this fund, I could hear his voice change. He sounded hopeful and more excited to graduate than ever. Not much will beat the feeling of being there to hug him once he was dismissed from his company. I got to witness the happiness and pride he felt as his shipmates thanked him for being such a good leader. It was truly and once in a lifetime experience, and I am so thankful to this fund for letting me be there for him.” Sidenote: Her spouse received the Leadership Award.
