HOTEL 206 – Mom And Brother There On This Special Day

HOTEL 206 – Mom Shares In Graduation Experience
“There were moments that I prayed for a solution on how I could afford to get to the graduation. It brought joy to me that I was able to be a blessing by donating to CG Family Assistance Fund after reading a post a few weeks after joining the Facebook group. Not realizing that I would need help myself getting to the graduation. I will forever cherish, remember, and hold December 23, 2024, close to my heart. Attending my son’s graduation brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it, just like the actual day all over again. Thank you for the opportunity to share and experience a once in a lifetime milestone with my son, a graduate of Hotel 206.”
BRAVO 205 – Mom there for daughter’s graduation
“Thank you so very much for the assistance with attending my daughter’s bootcamp graduation. We are very grateful for the opportunity. I can’t even begin to imagine not being there for her on this special day. It was very emotional and an extremely positive life change for our family. She is very happy with her Coast Guard Bootcamp experience and looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks again.”
ALFA 205 – No bus ride to the airport for this new Coastie
“Attending graduation meant everything to us. Early on in boot camp he told his shipmates that he’d be riding the bus home after graduation because no one was going to be there for him. I know he was down about it for several weeks. I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been to work towards a very important day in your life and feel like you’re all alone. When I told him I was coming thanks to this fund, I could hear his voice change. He sounded hopeful and more excited to graduate than ever. Not much will beat the feeling of being there to hug him once he was dismissed from his company. I got to witness the happiness and pride he felt as his shipmates thanked him for being such a good leader. It was truly and once in a lifetime experience, and I am so thankful to this fund for letting me be there for him.” Sidenote: Her spouse received the Leadership Award.
XRAY 204 – Happy Family for Graduation

Xray 201 – A great day for this Coastie family to celebrate
Sometimes the road to success is filled with obstacles. This family persevered and was able to be there on this wonderful day.
